Elisha enjoys spending time with her children and family. She is the mother of two beautiful children. While she was growing up, she was often teased and called names because she was born with one arm. The teasing and name calling made her grow up strong and very stubborn. She loves sports and outdoor activities. She played soccer and roller hockey growing up and she loved it! She also loves water skiing and just laying out on the beach. She has always been very active and independent.
She has been a Radiology Technologist since 2003 and she typically works in the Operating Room. She specializes in orthopedic trauma and spine research. In 2014, she won a best research award from the National Association of Surgical Spine for one of her research studies. Elisha was diagnosed with thyroid cancer four days before her 30th birthday and she had surgery a few months after. After surviving cancer, she decided that she wanted to do something extremely mentally challenging and physically changing, so she started bodybuilding. She is a bikini competitor and has competed in the Natural Olympia for the International Natural Bodybuilding Association for the past two years.
She loves to learn about new things. She has a ham radio license and has also published a children’s book, “Zach and his Frog.” She is very passionate about helping others and being a role model to others that are missing limbs. She wants to share with them hope and the knowledge they can to accomplish all of their goals and dreams!
